Friars Pride is an independent family owned company established over 40 years ago.
The company is one of the premier suppliers to fish and chip shops, fast food outlets and bakers in the Midlands, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, the East of England and South East of England.
Friars Pride have just placed an order with Ford & Slater Peterborough for five new FALF55.220 vehicleswith refrigerated bodies to follow on from the four similar new DAF vehicles which recently entered service.
The vehicles will be new additions to the predominantly DAF fleet - all of the vehicles were purchased with seven year R & M contracts to provide certainty in relation to future operating costs and will be based mainly in the Peterborough and Norwich areas.
