Ford & Slater donates £1,000 to the Air Ambulance Service at the Royal Norfolk Show
Ford & Slater has donated £1,000 to the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) Service, in memory of the Emma Easton Memorial Fund, at the Royal Norfolk Show 2018.
Ford & Slater’s Norwich dealership has been a long-time supporter of the Emma Easton Memorial Fund which was set up by Jenny Easton in memory of her daughter, a talented young show jumper who passed away following a tragic accident in 2002.
This year Ford & Slater has chosen to donate the money they would usually spend on tickets for the Royal Norfolk Show. Ford & Slater Norwich Dealer Principal, Keith Spurway, explains, “Every year we purchase a number of tickets for our customers to use to gain entry to the show. When we discussed the idea of donating that money instead, our customers were very supportive and encouraging.”
Keith continued, “We feel it is a wonderful thing to be able to donate so much to this fantastic service on behalf of Jenny Easton and her daughter Emma and we truly appreciate the support our customers have shown.”
The East Anglian Air Ambulance Service is an entirely self-funded charity which provides helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) for the people of East Anglia.
