We currently have some fantastic opportunities available for experienced HGV Technicians to join our team at our Chesterfield Dealership. The Technician will be responsible for carrying out vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s procedures within standard times set.

Qualified HGV Technician

Duties will include:

• Vehicle inspection
• General servicing
• Fault diagnosis
• Repair of vehicle defects
• Road test vehicles
• MOT preparation/presentation.
• Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty required.
• Completion of all required paperwork accurately

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three of equivalent).
• Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry.
• Have a full driving licence.
• Ideally possess a commercial licence – class 1 or 2 but not essential.
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced working environment.
• Be competent in the use of IT systems.
• Have a flexible approach to work commitments.

Working hours are as follows:

HGV Early/Late Shift:     Early Shift:   Mon – Fri       06:00 – 15:15

                                          Late Shift:   Mon – Fri       12:00 – 21:15

Worked on an alternating week basis.

Saturday morning (4 hours) working will be required as required, dependent on workload and the needs of the business and will be paid at overtime rate.
