The construction company, Gelder Group, have just taken receipt of a brand-new DAF LF 260 FA.

Established in 1988, the Gelder Group is a multi-award-winning company with a wealth of experience in education, health, retail, insurance, leisure, residential and commercial building projects.

The new DAF comes equipped with a HMF 1210 K2 RC tipper crane that was supplied and fitted by Massey Truck Engineering. The crane attachment means the vehicle will be capable of working independently with a variety of attachments and will be used to carry out different lifting operations on a daily basis.

Gelder Group’s Fleet Manager, David Leak, comments: “As always with a good truck, a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this DAF but we’re very happy with the end result!”

Explaining why Gelder Group continues to choose DAF, David said: “Over the years we have had DAF trucks in our fleet, and we’ve found that their functionality and strength on constructions sites work really well.”

The vehicle will join Gelder Group’s fleet and will be providing delivery of all types of building materials to a diverse range of construction and building sites within the region.

Commenting on their relationship with Ford & Slater, David concludes: “They [Ford & Slater] have been great to deal with both within sales and the after service that they provide!”
