The Lincolnshire based haulage company, Bradshaws Transport, have recently taken receipt of a brand-new DAF FTG XF 480. Founded in 1885 by John Bradshaw, the company remains in the family and continues its tradition of good reliable service for its customers.

Ken Garner, Finance and Operations Controller at Bradshaws Transport, comments: “We have 25 vehicles in our fleet, and they are predominantly DAF CF’s. This purchase is part of a current fleet replenishment and we have more scheduled for delivery later in the year.”

With an ever-growing DAF fleet, Ken explains why he keeps coming back to DAF: “We believe DAF are good value for money, reliable vehicles with an excellent service network; through DAFAid they are always on hand if anything goes wrong.”

Bradshaws Transport’s long-term plan includes updating their current fleet to the DAF XF: “The XF has repeatedly won truck of the year, the driver comfort is excellent and from a running cost perspective it’s got excellent returns on fuel economy.”

Explaining why Bradshaws Transport continues to choose Ford & Slater for their vehicles, Ken said: “We have a very open and honest relationship with Ford & Slater– they are very responsive, there is always someone available and they go the extra mile for us.”

The DAF XF comes complete with a Super Space cab, 12 speed TraXon gearbox, sat nav, truckphone and microwave.
